Music Ministry
The Parish
Choir of Grace Episcopal Church
Our Parish Choir works tirelessly to maintain and perform the great
music of the Anglican tradition. Throughout
the year, this glorious music is interspersed with new and different
pieces.
Under the direction of Choirmaster David Aldrete, the members of the
Parish Choir, accompanied by Organist Rick England, devote each Thursday
evening and most Sunday mornings, as well as several other additional
rehearsals, to our Music Ministry. Many
choir members also play instruments, adding their gifts to the music
program at various times during the year.
The Sounds of
Grace Handbell Choir
Our Handbell Choir plays
for many church services, including Christmas Eve. They have also
performed during Grace Church's Christmas Concert and at the Nixon
Library and Birthplace in Yorba Linda, California. They practice every
Wednesday evening, under the direction of Marilyn Scranton.
We also have a
beginning group, The Stellar Bells, who practice with Marilyn on
Sunday mornings, making ready to "graduate" and step in to the
Sounds of Grace, continuing our fine handbell music tradition.
